It would have been easier to order new doors
Crooked, wobbly, and clearly 100 years old.
But why make things easy?
The protected 1920s townhouse has lived a few lives already. Each era has left something behind on the architecture – sometimes subtle, sometimes loud. Instead of erasing those traces, we chose to work with them.
Wherever we could restore original elements, we did. Especially the doors.
Crooked, wobbly, and clearly 100 years old. Full of craft, weight, and detail.
So we kept them. Repaired them. Restored them with craftsmen who still know how to make things last.
Now they’re ready for the next life.
Another hundred years, maybe.
And honestly, that feels like the whole point.
